EDU offers continuing professional development throughout the academic year for all academic staff. All sessions are held online, and all are welcome to attend. Sessions typically last from one to two hours. Topics include integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into your teaching, working with students, assessment, and group work. The sessions are structured based on level and target audience:
1. Introductory: basic concepts and principles suitable for beginners or those new to the topic;
2. Intermediate: builds on foundational knowledge, suitable for those with some experience in the topic;
3. Advanced: in-depth exploration, suitable for experienced practitioners looking to deepen their understanding; and
4. Specialised: focuses on specific aspects or applications of the topic, suitable for those with a high level of expertise or interest.
Watch for EDU’s CPD email released every Friday afternoon with a list of CPD experiences available for registration.
If you have any ideas for CPD sessions, please contact the Educational Developer, Alan Meek at alan.meek@xjtlu.edu.cn.
