Simulation for the Chinese Space Station Telescope Main Survey

Abstract:

The Chinese Space Station Telescope(CSST) is the flagship telescope in the near future. With it, It is very highly promising to make breakthroughs on dark energy, dark matter, galaxy formation and evolution etc. An end-to-end simulation of it is essential to assess its overall performance, to produce simulation data for the pipeline construction and some scientific projects, especially for the weak gravitational lensing pre-studying. In this talk, I will introduce the simulating procedures and summarize the progress of it.
