Professor Yuan Yi from the College held a training lecture on criminal trial for post judges and assistant judges in the third-level courts of Anhui Province in the High People's Court of Anhui Province on 28 Sept, 2021.

Yuan Yi's report, entitled the Development of a Substantive System of Trial, focused on criminal trials, sorting out the concrete expression and implementation of the materialization of trial in criminal trial from the stages of pre-trial, trial and judgment. Its contents were close to practice and its form was novel and lively that assisted the judges attending the lectures to deepen their understanding of the implementation of the materialization of court proceedings in practice. On this basis, Yuan also carried on the prospect of the intelligent justice and the big data evidence, explained the influence big data evidence can exert to the criminal trial to the audiences.

The lecture was rich in content that on the basis of being in line with the judicial practice, it further explored new areas such as big data and intelligent justice. The whole training was very well received by the participating judges.
