On December 14th 2019, Professor Medhi Krongkaew, a widely influenced economist in Thailand, donated his two worksReflections on the Thai Economy and SocietyandThailand in East Asia and Pacific Contextto the Library of Research School for Southeast Asian Studies, Xiamen University.

Professor Dr. Medhi Krongkaew is at present a professor of Economics at the school of Development Economics, National Institute of Development Administration in Bangkok, Thailand，and until early 2019, a Visiting Fellow at the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics，Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University.

It is a great privilege for our library to receive such wonderful presents from Professor Medhi Krongkaew. The donation further enriches the School Library’s professional collection.
