The current rapid progress of smart water services requires talent to acquire the knowledge and ability of cross-fertilization of environmental fields, computer technology, automatic control engineering, information technology and other professions. This course focuses on the theory and technology of automatic control of water treatment and other processes, and helps students gain experience and skills in software and hardware development through practical sessions such as programming and development. The course introduces methods for optimizing the operation of wastewater treatment systems, traditional concepts of process control, and cutting-edge advances in smart water and artificial intelligence. Practical sessions on software and hardware development related to the monitoring and self-control of wastewater treatment systems are designed with the water treatment process as an example.
