A delegation of five members of the Law School of the Nanjing University, headed by its Chair of School Council Wang Lijuan, visited the College of Comparative Law on Xueyuanlu Campus on the morning of 8 April, 2021.

The Chair of College Council Wang Fang, Dean of the College Xie Zhiyong, and Deputy Dean of the College & Director of the Sino-German Institute of Law of the College Xie Libin received the dignitaries. Assistant to the Dean of the Law School Yang Yang, Deputy Director of the Sino-German Law Institute of the School Liu Qingwen, Deputy Director (German Side) of the Institute Dr. Peter Leibküchler, Prof. Zhu Qingyu from the Institute, Deputy Director of the Sino-German Institute of Law of the College Huang He and Director of the College Administrative Office Liu Ming attended the meeting.

Wang Fang and Xie Zhiyong extended warm welcome to the delegation and hoped that the meeting could further deepen exchanges and friendship between the two schools. Wang Lijuan thanked the College for its warm reception and said the visit was aimed at promoting the future development of their Sino-German Law Institute, and drawing advanced school-running experience from the Sino-German Institute of Law of the College. Xie Libin introduced the history of the Sino-German Institute of Law of the College and its development in the past 20 years.

Subsequently, the two sides exchanged their opinions on personnel training, institutional set-up, Sino-German programme development and other aspects.
