Director of Cross-cultural Programs Department ofBluffton University Mr. Paul Neufeld WeaverandAssociate Director, Mennonite Partners in ChinaMs.Jeanette Hansonvisited CUIT. The guests attended a communication meeting in No. 7 conference room of the Administration Building to discuss the cooperation between Bluffton University and CUIT. The meeting was hosted by Liu Wei, Deputy Director of International office, with the attendance including Yang Yun’an, Deputy Dean of Foreign Languages College, Wu Zezhong, Deputy Dean of Applied Mathematics College, Qin Shixia, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office, Gai Qiuyan, Section Chief of International Office, as well as teacher representatives Li Baojun and Du Yuanhua.
Liu Wei extended a warm welcome to the guests at the meeting and offered an introduction to the basic situation of international cooperation and exchange of CUIT. Paul Neufeld Weaver presented the general information of Bluffton University and its strong disciplines, including its curriculum provision and tuition fees and ect. He looked towards favorable exchange and collaboration from both sides through proactive discussion. Jeanette Hanson introduced the International Exchange Association of Bluffton University, the pattern for international exchange and welcomed CUIT staff and students to visit and study in Bluffton University.
On the meeting, participates also discussed in detail on running 2+2 double degree undergraduate program, which laid a good foundation for future cooperation.
