Mr. Fu Xinwei, the Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Xiamen Visited the Research School for Southeast Asian Studies/the School of International Relations
On July 30th 2015, Mr. Fu Xinwei (Mr. Julius Ceusar Aragon Flores) – the Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Xiamen – and his entourage paid a friendly visit to our School – the Research School for Southeast Asian Studies/the School of International Relations in Xiamen University. During his visit, Mr Consul General held a meeting with Professor Shi Xueqin – the Vice Dean of the School and kindly presented the School with a marvellous oil painting and 55 English books as presents. These elaborately selected books cover a wide range of issues including Philippine politics, society, history and culture as well as Sino-Philippine relations, which has helped to further enrich the School Library’s professional collection of resources on Philippine studies. This will substantially contribute to the academic exchange and collaboration between our School and the Philippines.
It is a great privilege for our School to have received Mr. Fu Xinwei (Mr. Julius Ceusar Aragon Flores) – the Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Xiamen. We would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to Mr Consul General for his kind visit and support. We also hope to continue to keep a friendly relationship with the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Xiamen to further academic understanding and collaboration between our School and the Phillippines.
