关于我们ABOUT IBSS AT XJTLU

Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is an international joint venture university founded by Xi’an Jiaotong University in China and the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. As an independent Sino-foreign cooperative university, it captures the essence of both prestigious parent universities and is the largest of such universities approved by the Ministry of Education in China.

Founded in 2013 as the exclusive business school of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, International Business School Suzhou offers a unique blend of Western and Chinese academic practices. XJTLU International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) is the largest English-language business school in China, as well as one of a small and prestigious group of Triple Crown Accredited (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) business schools worldwide. Situated among tens of thousands of domestic and international businesses in the innovative Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), with a 20-minute high-speed train ride away from Shanghai, IBSS forms a bridge between China and the world with its unique blend of Chinese and international academic practices.
IBSS features five academic departments spanning a wide range of business roles and activities, namely Accounting (ACC), Finance (FIN), Economics (ECO), Intelligent Operations and Marketing (IOM) and Strategic Management and Organisations (SMO). Through these five departments, the school offers 20+ undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to over 6,000 students from all over the world.

教学环境 OUR ENVIRONMENT

IBSS boasts excellent teaching facilities, study areas, as well as research and computer laboratories, occupying 6 floors and a total area of 40,800 square meters. Our students also have access to XJTLU’s extensive library resources and databases. The IBSS building equips with multifunctional research facilities such as IBSS Trading Floor, Biometrics Lab, Refinitiv Financial Lab, Computational Economics and Finance Lab, etc.
