The Planning and Governance Office is a pivotal force in driving strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and internal control processes to ensure the university’s sustainable growth and operational effectiveness.

Roles and responsibilities

1) Planning

  • Leading/Coordinating annual budget preparation and reporting.
  • Develop and optimize budget models.
  • Provide support and reporting to senior management and committees.
  • Handling the related business and inquiries off the annual planning cycle.

 

2) Internal Audit and Control

  • Strengthen risk management and governance structures.
  • Implement and review internal control assessments and risk assessments.
  • Develop and optimize internal control handbooks and processes.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure operational adequacy and effectiveness.
  • Provide unbiased opinions and recommendations for improvement.
  • Validate implementation of management action plans.
  • Report findings to senior management and committees.
  • Supervise bid opening and evaluation meetings.
  • Supervise asset and consumable disposal requests.
  • Supervise project acceptance audit requests.
