Drawing inspiration from XJTLU's motto, 'Light to See, Wings to Fly,' Dr Victor (Vik) Perez, Associate Professor of Practice at the Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Hub (EEH), has initiated BRANET, the world's first virtual network dedicated to advancing the emerging field of brain-driven entrepreneurship. Since the Academy of Management—the foremost professional association for management scholars— shared the invitation to join BRANET, 74 members representing 19 nationalities have joined this endeavor, underscoring the network’s global appeal.

“Bringing together a borderless community of academics, students, and entrepreneurs who believe in the potential of brain science to enhance entrepreneurial performance marks a momentous step forward,” explains Dr Perez, the originator of the Brain-driven approach to entrepreneurship.

Aligned with this vision, BRANET’s primary objectives are to foster collaborative research among international scholars at the intersection of neuroscience, technology, entrepreneurship and education, to translate these insights into actionable teaching methodologies, and to develop real-world applications that drive meaningful impact across diverse industries.
