2nd IBSS Virtual Business Project Competition
One hundred and forty-four students from over 20 universities all around the world have been grouped into 24 teams, with each team consisting of three IBSS students and three students from universities situated on five different continents. Examples of participating universities include Trinity College Dublin, Ireland; the University of Cape Town, South Africa; the University of Monterrey, Mexico; Chulalongkorn University, Thailand; and Simon Fraser University, Canada. Each team has been assigned a mentor to provide guidance and work on real-world projects with organisations and companies in Asia, to help identify solutions that can be implemented. All projects are addressing various UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This is an unforgettable and meaningful experience for everyone. We received nearly 300 applications this year. Students from all over the world overcame challenges of time, space, and language to gather here. Working in a multicultural team, students should always remember to be patient and maintain nice and close communication with your teammates. I wish all the students remarkable achievements, valuable experiences, and precious friendships in the next three weeks.

This project initiated by IBSS is core to our vision to be the most international business school in China. Our mission is building a bridge between East and West; this is exactly what this project does by bringing together students from all around the world. We are glad to see that this second edition is even more successful than last year, and we will make this a tradition for many more years to come.
