Let’s farewell to 2023!
2024 is a time to start a new chapter in life.
What kind of person do you want to become? What is your New Year’s resolution? Who do you want to spend more time with?
We are all from different parts of the world gathering together today to celebrate New Year’s Day.
Since you are here, why not pick up a lamp, and write down your New Year’s resolutions on its cover?
You can take your lamp with you and go to the XJTLU Multimedia Centre to get a greeting card. Then, you can write down words from your heart at the Hub. Meanwhile, you may bump into old friends or meet new friends here too.
After writing your greeting card, we will provide you with a New Year gift at the Hub.
Rules for participants
- Option 1: Pick up a New Year greeting card at XJTLU Multimedia Centre, write down your New Year’s resolution(s), and then hang it up on the Wall of Wishes;
- Option 2: Pick up a pair of Spring Festival couplets, write words down and be creative, and then hang it up on the Christmas tree;
- You can get a pair of Spring Festival couplets for free at the Centre;
- You can get a XJTLU Reading Week-themed desk lamps by:
- posting photos of the activity on any 1 of the social media platforms;
- using the hashtag #XJTLUMultimediaCentre;
- collecting 88 likes from the social media platform users.
(Only 20 desk lamps are available, so act quickly)
