Recently, the 5th Tongji Case Day was successfully held at the School of Economics and Management (SEM) of Tongji University. GUAN Tongxian, founder and first president of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy, WANG Fengbin, executive vice general manager of Shanxi Antai Group, LI Ruicheng, global senior vice president of SAP and president of China Research Institute, and YOU Zeyong, president of Gaoyou Lighting Industry Association, were invited to share enterprise cases and discuss with participants how to respond to non-competitive behaviour, practice the “dual carbon” strategy, promote new digital transformation, fission entrepreneurship and technological upgrading in enterprise development. About 200 teachers, students and business representatives attended this year’s Tongji Case Day.

Prof. SHI Qian, Chairman of the School Council, said that the Tongji Case Day has created a platform for first-class entrepreneurs and also provided opportunities for teachers and students to visit first-class enterprises. He hopes that this deep integration of school-enterprise interaction can help the school cultivate innovative entrepreneurs in the new era and jointly contribute to the development of new quality productive forces.

Prof. ZHONG Ninghua, Deputy Dean of SEM stated that in recent years, the Tongji Case Day and Entering Enterprises series of activities have focused on the forefront of digital transformation in enterprises, paying attention to the deep integration of artificial intelligence with industries and scenarios, focusing on collaborative education and technological achievement transformation, and establishing a valuable communication platform for the college to build a new ecosystem of artificial intelligence education.

LI Qinghai, who is in charge of the Case Centre, chaired the day’s event. In the case discussion, more than ten entrepreneurs, professors and scholars commented and summarized the cases shared by the four entrepreneurs.
