Tianjin key laboratory of composite and functional materials relies on the national key discipline of material science and engineering, Tianjin University. The lab is staffed with 36 fixed members, among who are 14 professors, 17 associate professors, 2 lecturers and 2 vice president engineers. The lab has developed into a high-level technological innovation base integrating composite design and preparation, biomedical material, Optoelectronic Information Materials, material erosion and control.
