南京大学地球科学系本科、硕士研究生、博士研究生毕业;并获理学博士学位;2003年11月被聘为教授;2004年评为博士生导师。

研究方向:

变质作用和前寒武纪地壳演化;花岗岩岩石学;火山岩中深源捕虏体 

科研情况


1.山西吕梁地区前寒武纪地质研究。确定吕梁群为早元古代形成;发现其上部地层为裂谷环境形成的双峰式火山岩;发现早元古代的A型流纹岩-花岗岩;明确发生于1.8Ga的变质作用为典型中压相系变质产物,并对变质带进行重新划分。
2.新生代玄武岩中深源捕虏体和巨晶的研究。建立了雷州半岛的古地温梯度;发现女山存在含石榴子石麻粒岩捕虏体,在地球化学和形成时代上也与华北地块相似,而不同于华南地块的麻粒岩捕虏体,据此将华北和华南地块的深部界线划定在南京以南,并呈东西走向;在雷州发现了由强烈演化的基性岩浆结晶的巨晶。确定了雷州地区上地幔的形成过程;
3.南岭地区花岗岩成因与壳幔作用的关系;
4.华夏地块前寒武纪地壳的形成,发现最古老的物质;确定了华南在Rodinia的位置;认识到华夏可能是由南岭-云开和武夷前寒武纪地块组成;其中武夷地块是古元古代克拉通的一个残留,是Columbia超大陆的组成部分。
