Recently, the 1st Sino-Russian International Conference on Combinatorial Topology officially opened. Organized by the Department of Mathematics, College of Sciences, NEU, the conference lasted for 5 days via online video, aimed at strengthening the academic exchanges between NEU and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and promoting the exchanges and cooperation in mathematical culture between China and Russia.
The Department of Mathematics of NEU has always been devoted to applying mathematics, especially combinatorial topology, to all aspects of production and life, so that the knowledge of basic disciplines will no longer be too high to the public. This academic conference on Chinese and Russian combinatorial topology and other related branches of mathematics held by the Department of Mathematics of NEU will greatly enhance the influence of the mathematics discipline of NEU at home and abroad and lay a solid foundation for the academic exchanges between China and Russia and the cultivation of mathematics talents for the two countries.
