During March 17-18, the Sino-Japanese Seminar on the International Standard for ISONP 21360-6 Cryogenic Pump Testing was held in NEU International Hotel. The seminar was sponsored by the National Technical Committee 18 on Vacuum Technology of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC18) and Japan Vacuum Industry Association (JVIA) and presented by NEU and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). Yu Tianbiao, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation of NEU attended the seminar and delivered a speech.
A total of more than 30 experts in the vacuum and cryogenic fields attended the seminar, who are from such domestic units as NEU, Research Institute 511 of China Academy of Space Technology, SKY Technology Development, Zhongbei Vacuum Technology, Shenyang Hengjin Vacuum, Liaoning Molecular Flow Technology and Shenyang Ligong University, as well as some Japanese units including ULVAC, ANELVA, SUMITOMO and VISTA. The present experts had online discussions on the development of the international standard for ISO/NP 21360-6: Standard Method for Vacuum Pump Performance Measurement Part 6: Cryogenic Pump.
