Recently, the 8th National Student Computer System Development Capability Competition National Finals came to an end. NEU won 1 national first prize, 3 second prizes and 1 third prize.
This year's competition was guided by the Informatization Development Bureau of the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, hosted by the Computer Education Research Association of Chinese Universities, the China Internet Development Foundation and the Demonstration Universities of System Ability Cultivation Research Project, and organized by Chongqing University of Technology, and co-organized by Loongson Technology Co., Ltd, China Machine Press, and China Computer Federation Technical Committee on Computer Architecture. The competition featured six tracks: CPU design, operating system design, compilation system design, database management system design, intelligent system innovation design and intelligent innovation computing, and attracted 110 teams from more than 70 institutions, including Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University and Harbin Institute of Technology. Through the fierce competition, the team of Luo Yu, Zheng Haotian, Zhu Peiyuan and Wei Xiangrui under the guidance of Mr. Fang Miao of Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao won the first prize of the Intelligent System Innovation Design Track. The team of Du Wenhao, Wang Zhibo and Wei Yongjun under the guidance of Mr. Nie Tiezheng of Northeastern University won the second prize in the Database Management System Design Track. The team of Jiao Zhe, Zhao Xin, Chen Conghao and Liu Andi and the team of Wang Qi, Guo Chonggaoxiang, Yang Xinrui and Gan Ruijie under the guidance of Mr. Fang Miao and Mr. Zhang Xu of Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao won the second prize of the CPU Design Track respectively. The team of Xu Caiyi, Xue Dinghao and Bai Cong under the guidance of Mr. Fang Miao and Mr. Wang Xin of Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao won the third prize of the Operating System Design Track.
The National Student Computer System Development Capability Competition is one of the competitions included in the National Ranking of Discipline Competitions for Students in Colleges and Universities, aiming to promote the reform of the professional construction field and the innovative talent cultivation system in the field of computers by discipline competitions, and to cultivate the reserve talents of high-end chips and key basic software in China.
