Recently, the National Finals of the 2023 China College Student Computer System Proficiency Competition came to an end. Students of the NEU won one National First Prize in Database Management System Design, one National Third Prize in Compilation System Design, one National Third Prize for Teams and one National Third Prize for Individuals in CPU Design; students of Qinhuangdao Campus won one National Third Prize and one Honorable Mention for Teams in Operating System Design, and Two National Third Prizes for Teams in CPU Design.
The China College Student Computer System Proficiency Competition is organized by the Computer Education Research Association of Chinese Universities and is included in the National Ranking of Discipline Competitions for Students in Regular Institutions of Higher Learning. The Competition aims to promote the reform of innovative talent training system in specialization development and computer field by discipline competition, and to cultivate the reserve talents of high-end chips and critical infrastructure software in China.
The Competition this year is composed of four categories: CPU Design, Operating System Design, Compilation System Design and Database Design. After fierce competition, the team of Huang Chunyue, Cai Yuzhou and Gu Xinhao directed by the teachers Hou Shuai and Zhang Yanfeng won the National First Prize in Database Management System Design; the team of Lu Haoran, Zhang Haibo, Qiu Zi'ao and Wu Haoyu directed by Hou Shuai and Yu Yaxin won the National Third Prize in Compilation System Design; the team of Li Longxuan, Lv Haoran, Bao Huankai and Qiu Pengyao directed by Yu Yaxin and Liu Xue won the National Third Prize for Teams in CPU Design, and Shi Wei directed by Yu Yaxin won the National Third Prize for Individuals in CPU Design; the team of Yi Yihong, Chen Conghao, Zuo Jinhui, Jiao Zhe and the team of Bai Yichen, Wang Qi, Gan Ruijie, Xie Boyuan directed by teachers Fang Miao and Zhang Xu of Qinhuangdao Campus received the National Third Prize in CPU Design; and the team of Xie Boyuan, Fang Xuan and He Pengyu directed by teachers Fang Miao and Wang Xin received the Third Prize for Teams in Operating System Design; the team of Pang Enze, Wu Jingyi and Bai Cong received the Honorable Mention for Teams in Operating System Design.
