On April 11th, Zhang Guochen, deputy Party secretary for school, met VELYCHKO OLEXANDR and other two visitors. VELYCHKO OLEXANDR is the president of National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, the Academician of Ukrainian Higher Institute, and the Academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Science. In addition, officials from the International Cooperation and Exchange Department and the Metallurgical College attended the meeting.
Zhang Guochen expressed warm welcome to their visit, and briefly introduced the current development and teaching features of Northeastern University. VELYCHKO OLEXANDR introduced the cooperation between two schools over years, and expected that both sides could further deepen the cooperation and broaden the fields of cooperation.
After the meeting, VELYCHKO OLEXANDR gave a special academic report to teachers and students of Metallurgical College.
