According to the Notice on Releasing the Results of the First Textbook Construction Awards of Liaoning Province (LJF [2020] No. 46) issued by the Department of Education of Liaoning Province, 20 undergraduate textbooks recommended by NEU have won the First Textbook Construction Awards of Liaoning Province, and 7 of them have been recommended to apply for the First National Textbook Construction Awards; 7 graduate textbooks of NEU have won the First Textbook Construction Awards of Liaoning Province, and one of them has been recommended to apply for the First National Textbook Construction Awards.
Since the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, NEU has established a scientific and systematic textbook management system, has actively prepared for the establishment of the leading group, the editorial committee, the review expert group and the working group for the textbook construction work, and has revised and improved the undergraduate textbook management system. It has approved 106 university-level textbook projects and evaluated 70 university-level high-quality textbooks based on the “100 High-quality Textbook Construction Projects”. During the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, NEU’s full-time teachers compiled and published 254 undergraduate textbooks.
