During October 30-31, China Collegiate Programming Contest (CCPC) 2021 – Girls’ Contest was held in Shandong University of Technology. Two teams instructed by teacher Liu Xiaofeng from NEU’s College of Computer Science and Engineering respectively won the gold and silver awards respectively.
CCPC 2021 –Girls’ Contest was organized by the CCPC Organizing Committee and presented by Shandong University of Technology. Held online, the contest attracted a total of 258 teams from 161 universities, including Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Zhejiang University and NEU.
CCPC is a significant national-level scientific and technological innovation competition, as well as a six-star competition identified by the Star Classification Table of NEU for Students’ Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Competitions. Since the first CCPC was launched in 2015, over 20,000 college students and more than 1,500 first-line instructors from more than 600 universities in China have participated in the competition. CCPC - Girls’ Contest started in 2016, representing an important part of CCPC. CCPC - Girls’ Contest requires that all the three players of a team should be female. It is aimed at cultivating and discovering high-quality talents among female college students in the field of computer science in China, and advocating the society to give more care and attention to female programmers.
