Organized by Northeastern University American Culture Center and International Cooperation and Exchange Department, the launch ceremony of Northeastern University (NEU) American Culture Week was held recently. Wang Fuli, vice-president of NEU, Wen Siguo, the U.S. embassy in Shenyang consul general, and the specialists and scholars from Appalachian State University attended the ceremony.
This American Culture Week is themed by “Human and Nature: the Sustainable Future”. 8 specialists and scholars from U.S. will discuss and exchange their opinions of the connotation of sustainable development and the relationship between human and nature with students and teachers from NEU, through reading parties, lectures, movies, and dramas, etc, to explore the eternal theme in Chinese philosophy and culture- the harmonious coexistence of man and nature together.
