May 18 is the annual International Museum Day. The topic of 2017 International Museum Day is “Museums telling unspeakable history”, focusing on the discussion of controversial aspects of history accompanied with the development of human being.


Changjiang Civilization Museum, constructed by Wuhan government with joint cooperation of Changjiang Water Resources Commission and Wuhan University, is the first comprehensive museum in China to study natural ecology and historical civilization of the Yangtze River.


In order to celebrate the International Museum Day falling on May 18, 2017, Changjiang Civilization Museum planned to host a visiting activity themed by “Telling Unspeakable History” on May 18, 2017. They would like to invite students from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University, Central China Normal University to take part in this activity.


We are going to organize 40 international students to visit Changjiang Civilization Museum on May 18, 2017. On that day, you can also discuss and exchange viewpoints regarding the history with the professors and students from other universities. In addition, lunch will be offered by the museum during this activity.

 

Notes:

1. Only 40 seats are available for this visiting activity. Students who are interested in this activity are supposed to come to the International Student Office(ISO) to sign up before 17:00, May 15, 2017. First come, first served.

2. The visit is free of charge.

3.  A bus will be arranged to pick you up on May 18.

Time: 7:30am, May 18, 2017

Location: the gate of Friendship Apartment

4. Because the sets of lunch will be ordered in advance, please make sure your attendance if you sign up for a seat.
