Program Overview

The Chinese Government established the “Young Envoys Scholarship Program (YES Program)” with the aim of providing financial support to young professionals to exchange in China. In the China's Best Discipline Ranking released by Shanghai SoftTech, the Public Administration discipline of Huazhong University of Science and Technology ranks in the top 3% of the country. The college of Public Administration of Huazhong University of Science and Technology was elected to carry out YES program.

Program Introduction

Topic: Chinese Society and Chinese Governance 

Form: Scientific research activities, visits, field research
Characteristic: The activity has a distinct theme, highlights the characteristics of Chinese governance, and fully mobilizes students to participate, triggering thinking and effectively promoting the high-level and high-quality development of universities. The activities are diverse, including on campus visits, classroom observations, and visits to Wuhan city, allowing students from world-class universities to participate in practical activities while gaining a deeper understanding of our school's education management model and culture. Students can also experience Jingchu culture firsthand, feel the development of  Wuhan, experience Chinese culture, and enhance students' understanding of China's national conditions. Through the research activities of the research group, we aim to cultivate students' innovative and critical thinking abilities, improve their communication and coordination skills, and enhance their teamwork spirit, thereby enhancing their competitiveness. Conducting in-depth field research at the grassroots level lays the foundation for innovation and research in future projects, and provides important basis for project research.

1. Citizens from the U.S., France and other European countries

2. Undergraduate students from the top 100 universities in the world
   

3. English proficiency

4. Interested in China and Chinese governance concerns

   
   

Fees

Visits, foods and accommodation are all included during 14days. International travel expenses and insurance are not included.
