On the afternoon of November 23, the seminar on "The Development of Foundational Disciplines in the Legal Discipline System" and the book launch of "A New History of Chinese Legal Theory" were held in Beijing, co-sponsored by the Office of Development Planning and Discipline Construction, the Research Office, and the School of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law. Experts and scholars from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing Normal University, and other higher education and research institutions, as well as leaders from East China Normal University Press and faculty members and students from our university, gathered to discuss the development of foundational disciplines within the legal discipline system. The new book launch was hosted by Huo Zhengxin, the director of the Office of Development Planning and Discipline Construction.
