Recently, the Ministry of Education's Textbook Bureau issued the issued the Notice of the Ministry of Education on the Result of the Second Batch of Key Research Bases for the Development of National Teaching Materials (Jiaocai Han [2023] No.1), announcing the results of the second batch of key research bases for the development of national teaching materials. After the independent application from universities and research institutions, along with third-party professional organizations conducting qualification reviews, professional evaluations, and audit confirmations, 14 bases were identified as the second batch of national key research bases for textbook. China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), with its outstanding academic strength, was chosen as the only research base for legal textbooks. The director of the research base is Ma Huaide, President of CUPL.
The National Key Research Base for Textbook serves as a specialized professional think tank dedicated to researching curriculum textbooks. It is a platform at the national level, bringing together expertise from various disciplines and areas to collaboratively research the development of curriculum teaching materials.
