From May 22 to 23, the 46th CUPL Track & Field Meet was held at the Changping Campus. Vice President Feng Shiyong, Vice Council Chair Gang Wenzhe, Vice President Li Shuangchen and Vice President Li Xiuyun as well as the heads of schools and relavant administrative offices attended the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, following the national flag guard, the flag arrays of school delegates entered in turn. Their performances demonstrated the vigor and vitality of CUPLers as well as the tenacious sportsmanship. The delegate made of 51 alumni of grade 87, who were the first CUPL graduates at Changping campus and donated the landmark building "Tuohuangniu" (The Pioneering Ox) to CUPL, also participated in the opening ceremony.
After two days of fierce competition, the Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School, the School of Law and the School of International Law respectively won the top three in group A. The School of Foreign Studies, the School of International Education and the School of Sociology won the top three in Group B. The School of Criminal Justice, the School of Political Science and Public Administration, the Business School, the School of Juris Master, the School of Humanities, the College of Comparative Law, Guangming School of Journalism and Communication, the School of Information Management for Law, the Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science, and the School of Marxism won the Good Spirit Awards.
