On April 11, the People's Procuratorate of Heze, Shandong Province and CUPL signed an agreement on legal education cooperation, and unveiled the Base of Legal Education for Senior Officials and the Practice Base of Legal Education. Prof. Chang Baoguo, Vice President of CUPL, and Wang Xinjian, Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuratorate of Heze signed the agreement and unveiled the two bases on behalf of the two sides.
Vice President Chang said that cooperation in the field of legal training and legal practical teaching helped break the institutional barriers between colleges and the society. Strengthened cooperation between colleges and judicial agencies is vital to cultivation of legal talents. Chang hoped that the People's Procuratorate of Heze would bring high-quality resources to empower the teaching and internship of CUPL. In the meantime, CUPL would leverage its leading academic resources and cooperation could be carried out in an effective way on matters such as official on-job legal training, joint researches, and secondment of young teachers.
