On the evening of May 23, 2012, in the Yifu Building on the Changping Campus, CUPL hosted the 10th Zhong Lun Cup “Ten Academic New Talents” Thesis Competition Awards Ceremony.
“Ten Academic New Talents” Thesis Competition symbolizes the largest, most competitive, and comprehensive thesis competition at CUPL. Three professor emeriti—Professor Jiang Ping, Professor Chen Guangzhong, and Professor Zhang Jinfan—served as honorary advisers of the competition. The judging panel consists of 48 CUPL senior professors, who annually select ten outstanding theses.
This year, the competition organizer received 177 submissions, covering 35 disciplines in areas such as politics, philosophy, criminal law, journalism, psychology, and civil law. After the preliminary contest, the semi-finals, and comprehensive reviews, Zhuang Zhibo and nine other students were awarded the distinction of“Ten Academic New Talents.”
