A/Prof. Xie Libin attended the International Conference on Oeffentliches Recht in Asien - Aktuelle Tendenzen und Herausforderungen at Thammasat University in Thailand on 21 Nov, 2013.
The conference language was Germany. Scholars specialized in German Law field from China, Thailand, Germany, Vietnam, Korea and Japan attended it.
Xie presented a report on Normativität der chineischen Verfassung on the conference. At the beginning of his speech, Xie introduced the information of the College of Comparative Law, the Sino-German Institute of Law and the Asia Academy of Comparative Law, which attracted attendees' attention. For his report, Xie analyzed the phenomena of China's scholars' denying of the effectiveness of China's constitutional norm through opinions on political constitution and unwritten constitution.
