At A/Prof. Feng Kai's invitation, Prof. Vincent R. Johnson, expert in Tort Law in the U.S. and author of American Tort Law (interpreted by Zhao Xiuwen, published in 2004) , gave a speech on Feng's Comparative Tort Law class on the afternoon of 12 March. Prof. Johnson combined the progress of the module with his seminar, presented a splendid lecture to the students.

Prof. Johnson first expounded the importance of Tort Law in the Common Law system. Then he cited several classic cases, emphatically analyzed the content and the application conditions of negligence per se under the American Tort Law framework. His authentic speech brought up strong interaction with students.
