The research objects are mainly paintings, sculptures, architectural works, which are supplemented by document literature. Through attending lectures and joining in group discussion, students are to grasp the history of Western art, the schools of different periods, and representative works. They will be able to analyze western phenomena of art and have the accomplishment of appreciating western works of art.
