Ha Noi (VNA) - A selection of 150 art works created by 71 leading young Italian artists (known as PUNTO UNO) is being exhibited at the Ha Noi Fine Arts Museum.
Running from Mar. 19 through Mar. 27, the exhibition aims to introduce to visitors the contemporary arts trend in Italy, which displays works made from an assortment of materials, including canvas, wood, terracotta and even chewing gum, in one standard size (18cmx24cm).
"PUNTO UNO, which was displayed in countries such as the Republic of Korea, Japan, Pakistan, Malaysia, the Philippines and China, depicts many aspects of the city of Rome. It honours young artists who create modern arts trends in Italy," Italian Ambassador to Viet Nam Alfredo Matacotta Cordella said.
The Italian diplomat said that an exhibition on Vietnamese culture, including the showcase of paintings by young Vietnamese painters, will be held in Italy in June.-Enditem
