The Southeast Asia Center (SEAC) was established in 2012 as an answer to the socioeconomic and cultural interest toward Southeast Asia. SEAC has since become the core of Korea’s Southeast Asian area studies by providing expert insight and disseminating meaningful data. SEAC’s researchers have conducted multiple comprehensive studies on the Southeast Asian region, established strong networks with other Southeast Asian regional research institutes both domestic and abroad, and provided Open Lectures to continuously promote Southeast Asian studies to the public.

The Asian Center is the University of the Philippines' only unit with a regional area of specialization and one of the colleges in the university's Diliman campus. Established in 1955 as the Institute of Asian Studies, the Asian Center offers graduate-level multidisciplinary programs on Asian Studies and on Philippine Studies.Its mandate—the study of Asia—is underpinned by law, Republic Act 5334, which took effect in June 1968. The Asian Center is based at the GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center. It is a member of the Consortium for Southeast Asian Studies in Asia; the Kyoto International Consortium for Asian Studies (KICAS); and the Network of ASEAN-China Academic Institutes (NACAI).

南洋学会，原名“中国南洋学会”，成立于1940年3月，是东南亚华人最早研究南洋课题的学术团体，由新马一批从事南洋研究的中国学者姚楠、许云樵、张礼千、郁达夫、刘士木、李长傅、韩槐准、关楚璞等创办。学会先后出版了《南洋学报》《南洋学会丛书》等，为学者研究提供交流平台。历年来，学会秉承创会宗旨不时举办大型公开学术讲座和座谈会，内容包括东南亚地区的历史研究、经济结构解析、社会发展、文化变迁、传播研究等，大力推动南洋文化的研究和普及。

新加坡南洋理工大学华裔馆

新加坡亚洲研究学会

新加坡亚洲研究学会成立于1982年。当时，有感于新加坡的文化发展没有跟上经济高速发展的步伐，人们逐渐忽视母族语言和传统文化，精神文明建设有待加强，辜美高、吕振端、李元谨、陈田启等本地知识分子共同创办该会，以深思未来，谋求善策。

如今，该会已发展成为一个致力于研究与普及文、史、哲等知识的学术团体，旨在推广亚洲，尤其是东南亚华裔社会的历史与文化研究。该会一年一度出版的双语学报《亚洲文化》，以匿名评审的严格要求，发表高素质的学术论文，在东南亚研究方面尤享有知名度。
