本课题组主要致力于原核生物新型防御系统的挖掘和作用机理研究,近年来,课题组组长以通讯作者(含共同通讯作者)和第一作者(含共同第一作者)在Cell (2篇)、Nature Biotechnology、Molecular Cell (2篇)、Nature Communications、eLife、Structure等专业领域权威TOP期刊发表多篇SCI论文,在针对CRISPR-Cas系统的作用机理方面取得了一系列突破性的研究成果,已申请多项国内和国际专利,对促进新型基因编辑和分子诊断工具的开发和应用具有重要作用。
当前,课题组主要研究方向包括:

2. 原核生物防御系统及病毒拮抗宿主免疫的分子机制
3. 核酸加工与修饰
4. RNA介导的基因表达与调控的结构生物学研究
