The 11th International Symposium on Luminescent Materials is held at XMU

From November 14 to 17, 2019, the 11th International Symposium on Luminescent Materials (Phosphor Safari) was held at the Science and Art Center, XMU. The Phosphor Safari was first established by Prof. Kenji Toda, Prof. Hajime Yamamoto, and Prof. Dae Ho Yoon in 2009 with the aim of promoting discussion and interaction between young researchers and leading scientists related to the field of phosphor. The 2019 Phosphor Safari was organized by XMU with an attendance of 523 including academics and industries from around the world. Guests attending the symposium were invited to give plenary, keynote and invited talks around eight topics including "rare earths, transition metals, and main group elements activated phosphors", "Nanoscale optical materials", "Hybrid and organic optical materials", "Luminescent materials for solid-state lighting, displays, scintillators, and lasers".
