In our laboratory, the research fields include two main parts: “Preparation and Controlling in New Materials” and “Advanced Materials Processing Technology”. The first part focuses on the investigation on wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant special alloy materials; bimetal composite materials; ceramic/metal matrix composites; preparation of metal single crystal; preparation of metal semi-solid slurry for several decades. The research technology of wear-resistant materials represents leading level in the domestic and advanced level in the world. The second part focuses on the principle of rapid prototyping and numerical control technology, reverse equipment and computer modeling for digital model, rapid prototyping and processing. The process is full automatic control by computer, and own polystyrene foam plastics series rapid prototyping technology; metal plate commercialization of CNC cutting equipment.
