CAMP-Nano's annual review meeting was held in Room 205, School of Materials Science and Engineering from Dec. 23 to Dec. 28. Campers gave a review of their last year's researching work and a summary of the past year. The advisory committee comprised of Prof. Evan Ma, Prof. Jun Sun, Prof. Zhiwei Shan, and Prof. Ju Li gave insight views and precious advice to everyone's work.
In the first day, the administrative staffs and technical staffs summarized their work this year, respectively. In the next two days, a mini-workshop of on-going research in CAMP-Nano was carried out. Groups of Mechanical Behavior of Metal and Alloy, Elastic Strain Engineering and Chemical Problems in Materials, as well as Environmental TEM took turns to show their research work.
Then a pre-meeting of Elastic Strain Engineering "973" Project was held on the morning of Dec. 27th. In the afternoon, the meeting was about a performance review of CAMP-Nano's young faculty.
On Dec. 28th, each camper reviewed his/her work in 2013 and planned their future work in the coming year. Finally, some campers were awarded for their excellent work this year.
