On December 28th, the second session of the "Meeting the Dean" live series - the special session for the School of Mechanical Engineering - was successfully held. This session not only showcased the school’s strengths but also provided a platform for meaningful academic exchange and interaction.

Professor Lei Yaguo, the Executive vice-dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), served as the keynote speaker and provided a detailed introduction to the school's faculty, research structure, and various research directions. He not only shared the outstanding academic and research achievements of the school but also delved into the development trends and cutting-edge dynamics of the mechanical discipline, demonstrating the school's profound academic foundation and remarkable research strength.

During the session, Professor Lei shared valuable advice to prospective students interested in applying to XJTU. He encouraged them to explore the unknown, challenge their limits, and strive for excellence in their academic pursuits. The session generated significant interest during its promotional phase, with students eagerly seeking further information and asking questions, all of which Dean Lei addressed thoughtfully, fostering a dynamic and interactive atmosphere.

Attracting more than 2000 views, this session offered students with invaluable insights into the School of Mechanical Engineering and also positively contributed to the school’s enrollment efforts.
