7月7日，西安交大通过“移动交通大学”APP平台发出了全国高校首份电子录取通知书。西安交大在2014年招生工作中大力推行“移动招生”的创新之举，随即引起了社会媒体的高度关注。中央电视台、中央人民广播电台、北京电视台、人民日报、央视新闻、人民网、香港文汇网、中新网、新浪网、华商网、腾讯网等纷纷进行了报道。
