周俊东博士毕业于苏州大学，先后获得学士、硕士和博士学位，曾在美国威斯康辛医学院和俄克拉荷马大学学习。
周俊东博士于2006年加入南京医科大学附属苏州医院，现为南京医科大学附属苏州医院放射肿瘤科主任兼肿瘤实验室主任，主任医师，博士生导师。主要科研方向为食管癌转移和放疗抵抗机制。
Dr. Jundong Zhou earned his MD and PhD degrees at Soochow University, Suzhou, China. He was a visiting scholar at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Oklahoma.
He is the doctoral supervisor of both Nanjing medical university and Jiangsu University.
In 2006, he joined the affiliated Suzhou hospital of Nanjing medical university as the head of the newly established Suzhou cancer center core laboratory. He also severed as head of the Department of Radiation Oncology. He is now the head and chief physician of Department of Radiation Oncology, the affiliated Suzhou hospital of Nanjing medical university. His research interest mainly focuses on the mechanism of metastasis and radioresistance in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma
