Department of Applied Mathematics

Applied mathematical and computational sciences are among the major research strengths of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and the Department of Applied Mathematics is committed to excellence in research and teaching in this area.

This is a lively and friendly department for undergraduate, postgraduate and research students and has a reputation for student achievement and success. Our academic staff are internationally recognised for their high-quality research output in a number of areas in modern mathematics.

Our department offers a large number of mathematics and science courses, playing an important role in the undergraduate and graduate programmes of the School of Science.
