Position: Teaching Assistant on LIF001 Research-led and Project-based Learning Module

Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support our LIF001 Module. As a Teaching Assistant,
you will provide valuable support to teachers and students, assisting in the smooth operation of the consultation room
and promoting an optimal learning environment. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate effective teaching and
learning experiences in collaboration with the lead teacher.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in the management and coordination of online module platforms.
Collaborate with the lead teacher to coordinate teaching materials, develop and implement instructional activities, and align assessment standards.
Assist the teacher during lectures and tutorials by answering student questions, facilitating discussions, fostering student engagement, and providing additional explanations when needed.
Mark student assignments based on specified criteria, ensuring consistent and fair grading practices, and offering constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and skills.
Support and supervise students in their final projects by monitoring their progress and providing guidance and feedback throughout the process.
Other supporting tasks assigned by the lead teacher.
Skills
Excellent language skills in English and Mandarin, including listening, speaking, reading and writing;
Professional use of Microsoft Office;
Good ability to study and research new education and IT technology;
Keen insight and analytical skills, enough patience to guide and support students’ learning process.
