Mr. Yajun Ding has accumulated over 12 years of experience in teaching English in higher education institutions. He joined XJTLU in 2019 and has since taught year 1 and year 2 EAP modules, as well as a Pre-Sessional course. In 2021, he achieved a PG Cert in Higher Education from the University of Liverpool and became a fellow in Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

In addition to teaching EAP courses, he has provided language and academic skills support to BUS 003 Taster Module, as well as degree prep modules such as ACC002 and IOM 006. He served as coordinator for CS in EAP 105 and as language support coordinator for the IBSS degree prep modules.

His research interests include AI integration into English Language Teaching, educational technologies, L2 Writing and Speaking proficiency, and automatic scoring/grading. He has presented at the XJTLU Annual Teaching and Learning Colloquium twice, sharing his experience of providing ELT support to modules in departmental programs.
