Dr. Qinglei Bu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics at the School of Advanced Technology, where he is the programme director of BEng Mechatronics and Robotic Systems (MRS). He is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and a member of IEEE and IET. Dr. Bu's research focuses on mechatronics product design and renewable power conversion systems, and his work has been published in esteemed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification. He also serves on the editorial board for SCI journal Frontiers in Energy Research and is a regular reviewer for reputable SCI journals. In addition, he has been invited to serve as a Session Chair and Co-session Chair for IEEE IPEC-ECCE Asia 2022 and IEEE ICAC 2024, respectively. Since 2022, he led student teams, won 6 provincial-level and 5 national-level prizes, and was awarded the Outstanding Supervisor of Jiangsu Province in 2024.
