In order to further facilitate the access and utilization of intellectual property data by the public and innovation subjects, promote the development and utilization of intellectual property data, improve the accessibility of intellectual property data, enhance the public service capacity of intellectual property information, and give full play to the value of intellectual property data resources, the Department of Public Services of CNIPA has organized the preparation and issuance of the Intellectual Property Data User Manual and Open Catalog, which has been synchronously released on the State Intellectual Property Public Service Platform. The manual introduces the basic concepts of intellectual property data.
Recently, a white paper entitled “The State of Intellectual Property Protection in China in 2024” was officially released. The White Paper describes the progress and effectiveness of China's IPR protection in 2024 in five aspects: protection effectiveness, system construction, approval and registration, cultural construction, and international cooperation.
On April 28, 2025, the "IP Inspire XJTLU" AI Patent Portfolio Strategy Salon, jointly organized by the Intellectual Property Information Service Center and Library of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), concluded successfully at the XJTLU South Campus Hub in Suzhou.
