Qammer博士是格拉斯哥大学工程学院的讲师(助理教授),同时也是伦敦大学玛丽女王学院(QMUL)的客座讲师(助理教授)。Qammer博士负责大约350万英镑的投资项目,具有一项专利,发表了200多篇国际期刊和会议论文,此外还出版了5本专著,并多次获得科学研究奖励。Qammer博士的研究方向包括纳米通信、物联网、5G及其在连接健康中的应用、射频设计和无线电传播技术、RFID、毫米波和太赫兹通信技术在医疗保健和农业技术中的应用、可穿戴和柔性传感器、紧凑型天线设计、无线体感网络、非侵入式医疗保健解决方案等。Qammer博士是IEEE高级会员,是IEEE青年专家组主席。是IEEE Access Journal, IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwaves in Medicine and Biology, Advanced Electromagnetics Journal副主编,并兼任多篇国际刊物专刊的客座主编。他是IEEE 1906.1.1纳米通信标准委员会的成员,也是IET天线与传播和医疗网络委员会成员。Qammer博士曾担任多个IEEE高级会议的技术委员会成员,并担任多篇IEEE顶级期刊技术评审。

Dr Qammer H. Abbasi is Lecturer in Electronics and nano-scale division in school of Engineering. Currently Dr. Abbasi is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in University of Glasgow in the School of Engineering in addition to Visiting Lecturer (Assistant Professor) with Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL). Dr. Abbasi has grant portfolio of around £3.5M, contributed to a patent and more than 200 leading international technical journal and peer reviewed conference papers, in addition to 5 books and received several recognitions for his research. His research interests include Nano communication, internet of things, 5G and its applications to connected health, RF design and radio propagation, RFID, applications of millimetre and terahertz communication in healthcare and agri-tech, wearable and flexible sensors, compact antenna design, antenna interaction with human body, Implants, body centric wireless communication issues, wireless body sensor networks, non-invasive health care solutions and physical layer security for wearable/implant communication. Dr. Abbasi is an IEEE senior member and was Chair of IEEE young professional affinity group. He is an Associate editor for IEEE Access journal, IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwaves in Medicine and Biology, Advanced Electromagnetics Journal and acted as a guest editor for numerous special issues in top notch journals including Elsevier Nano communication network. He is member of IEEE 1906.1.1 standard committee on nano communication and is also a member of IET and committee member for IET Antenna & Propagation and healthcare network. Dr. Abbasi has been a member of the technical program committees of several IEEE flagship conferences and technical reviewer for several IEEE and top-notch journals. He contributed in organizing several IEEE conferences, workshop and special sessions in addition to European school of antenna course.

课程简介(中英文):

本课程的主要内容包括:(1)格拉斯哥大学人才培养、学术及科研情况简介;(2)人体健康医疗、精准农业及纳米级通信遥感技术概述;(3)纳米级传感器技术应用;(4)可穿戴传感器及植入式传感器应用;(5)太赫兹时域光谱技术在生物信号检测中的应用;(6)纳米级传感器网络结构与应用;(7)机器学习方法在实际中的应用。

通过本课程中关于可穿戴式、植入式传感器技术在人体医疗健康应用,遥感技术在精准农业中的应用,以及机器学习方法在相关应用的数据处理与分类中所起到的关键作用,使学生了解当前及未来应用于人体健康医疗及现代化农业中的关键技术;通过基于机器学习方法在这些领域中的应用,使学生掌握基于大数据的信号处理与分析方法。

The main contents of this course include :(1) introduction to the talent development, academic and scientific research in University of Glasgow, U.K.;(2) overview of human healthcare, precision agriculture and nano-scale remote sensing technology;(3) application of nano-scale sensor technology;(4) the application of wearable sensors and implantable sensors;(5) the application of terahertz time-domain spectroscopy in biological signal detection;(6) the structure and application of nanometer sensor network;(7) the application of Machine Learning algorithm in practice.

Through this course about wearable, implantable sensor technology applied in the human healthcare, and the application of remote sensing technology in precision agriculture, and the key role of machine learning methods in the application of data processing and classification, the students can be able to understand the current and future application in the human healthcare, and the key technology of modern agriculture; Through the application of machine learning algorithm in these fields, students can master the signal processing and analysis methods based on big data.
