Recently, based on the domestic academic journal papers and conference papers included in CNKI, the CNKI China Scientific Bibliometrics Evaluation Research Center selected the list of "2024 CNKI Highly Cited Researchers" through quantitative data statistics, selection plan review, subject expert research and other work. Ten scholars from the Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University were selected, including Deng Dasong, Xiang Yunhua, Wang Zengwen and other scholars were selected into the list of "2024 CNKI Top 1% Highly Cited Researchers" in the disciplines of applied economics, political science and public administration, and Zhang Yun was selected into the list of "2024 China CNKI Top 5% Highly Cited Researchers" in the discipline of Political Science.

Selected into the list of "2024 CNKI Highly Cited Scholars TOP1% and TOP5%".

The selection of "2024 CNKI Highly Cited Researchers" is based on the influence index of scholars' published papers in the past 10 years (2014-2023) based on the "Academic Essentials" database of CNKI and the China Research Center for Scientific Bibliometrics and Evaluation. According to statistics, about 3.35 million authors across the country entered the primary election. To be selected into the list of "2024 CNKI Top 1% Highly Cited Researchers", domestic scholars must meet the following conditions:

(1) Only papers with PCSI index greater than 1.65 are counted;

(2) Published at least 1 high-impact paper (high PCSI paper, high cited paper, high download paper);

(3) Published at least 5 papers with PCSI index greater than 1.65.
